"I grew up bouncing across hay bales on my great grandfather's farm in Louisiana. It was common to have crawfish boils or "street dances" full of great food, good company and most of all, that ol' blues music that tapped right into your heart. You couldn't help but dance.

As an adult, I longed to create music and have that feeling I did as a little girl, letting the music fill my soul. I bought a ukulele and started playing it, learning chords, strumming, singing while playing. Shortly after, I picked up my buddy's bass and started playing it with two other musicians. We got a chance to play a short set during the break of a another band's show. And my little brother, in all his excitement, love and support, bought me my very first bass guitar. Brand new. After playing that little set, I was hooked.

Ten years later, I have taken on bass guitar, ukulele, piano, and singing. Music is my happy place. I have a passion to share the positive energy I feel when I am on stage. I want to spread the joy that I felt as a child, of pure happiness and togetherness through the universal language that moves your heart and your feet."

About the Band

Our full band brings a show like no other.

Kimberly, born and raised in Louisiana, brings gritty female vocals ranging from delta blues to Rock n' Roll while thumping the bass. Mason has a versatile style on guitar, on top of his perfected tone. Preston is our solid, in-the-pocket drummer impressive fills to softer fusion styles. We play songs from Black Pumas, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, The Revivalists and more.

About the Duo

Kimberly and Mason O'Bannon are a married, touring duo act born in Louisiana and based out of Hot Springs, Arkansas. They spent 2022 traveling and playing music all over the state of Arkansas. Their song "Best Views" was selected as the winner of the 2nd Annual Henry Glover Songwriting Competition, judged by celebrity Tony Stampley. Kimberly displays bluesy vocals and plays keys. Mason is a dynamic guitarist with 16 years of experience inspired by artists like Joe Satriani, Tom Scholz, and David Gilmore.

This set can be low key, soft music, or an upbeat, piano bar style show. We are open to requests before and during this show. We do songs by Bill Withers, Lorde, Cage The Elephant, and The Revivalists.

Best Views was a song written by Kimberly and Mason in the spring of 2022 about their outdoor adventures through the beautiful state of Arkansas. This song won the 2nd Annual Henry Glover Songwriting Competition in April of 2022. It's a feel good jam!

Kimberly wrote this song about her life, growing up around her family's farm in Louisiana. Take a listen to her story of overcoming despite being the daughter of a black sheep in her family.
